While the fall 2020 AAA meeting in St. Louis seems far away in time, and little is certain in terms of other professional meetings for the near future, as long as plans are to go ahead, we want to encourage organizers to contact us about the AAA Interest group on Aging and the life Course invited session.
Each year, we are able to choose one outstanding panel on some aspect of aging and the life course for our invited session. You can read about our past invited sessions from 2019 and 2018 here. Panels are reviewed and chosen by the AALCIG program committee.
Once our session is chosen, we let the organizers know, and when they submit the session they indicate as the reviewing section: “Program Committee” (because the program committee of the whole meeting decides on interest groups’ sessions). In the past, virtually all invited sessions have been accepted into the meeting’s program.

AAA Friday, May 15 All General Call for Papers Abstract proposals must be STARTED
Wednesday, May 20 All General Abstract proposals must be COMPLETE
With that in mind please submit your proposal to me at jsokolov@usf.edu no later than May 14 so that I can transmit this to our program committee and get a decision before May 19 and get that information to you. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
